AIP Foundation Launches Public Awareness Campaign to Promote the Decade of Action for Road Safety in Vietnam

26 April 2011, Vietnam. The Asia Injury Prevention (AIP) Foundation is implementing a public awareness campaign in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang, leading up to the May 11 launch of the Decade of Action for Road Safety. The public awareness campaign features 10 celebrities promoting the message "Together we can save millions of lives" and provides facts about traffic fatalities and simple interventions -such as helmet and seat belt use- relevant to Vietnam. The media campaign includes television commercials, more than 100 billboards nationwide, street banners, and press coverage.
