On March 20, 2010, the United States State Department recognized AIP Foundation and Protec Helmet Company with a Social Responsibility Award at the gala hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. U.S. Ambassador Michael W. Michalak presented the award to Ms. Hoang Na Huong, Deputy Executive Director of AIP Foundation and Deputy General Manager of Protec Helmet Company, thanking the organizations for their joint contributions to road safety in Vietnam. AIP Foundation was joined at the gala by representatives from several organizational supporters, including representatives from UNICEF, the World Health Organization and the Danish Embassy.
